Kiswahili phrase of the day

(We’ve decided to teach you a little Kiswahili for when you come to visit us!) Note: In Kiswahili, the A’s are pronounced AH, the E’s are EH, the I’s are EE, the O’s are OH, and the U’s are OO… always! Here’s the standard greeting in Kenya: “Habari yako?” (which basically means, “how are you?” But literally means, “your news?”) Reply: “Nzuri!” (good!) or “Nzuri sana!” (very good!). (pronounce it: nn-zoo-ri, and roll the “r”!)
